I went to see Mission Impossible 3 yesterday. It was the end of a 3-day weekend and I decided to go.
First, Tom Cruise is Tom Cruise no matter what movie he is in. I find him a shallow as an actor with out any depth in any of his performance.
Second, Michelle Monaghan is hot. She's sexy in the movie. But I could never understand why any guy would want to put himself in danger, going on "missions" instead of spending time with his wife, especially if it was Michelle Monaghan.
Third, Keri Russell (aka Felicity) was in the movie for maximum 5 minutes. Her part could have been done by anyone, better an "up-and-coming" actor who could benefit more with the 5 minutes of exposure with Tom Cruise.
Fourth, I found myself trying to fast-forward parts of the movie with my invisible remote control. The movie was slow in the middle. Story could have been better.
Fifth, I smelt the rat when I first saw Billy Crudup (Musgrave). Seriously, don't give away the story in the first 15 minutes of the movie. My money could have been better spent in the arcade.
Anybody else see the movie?

Tom Cruise is a vile piece of rotten humanity. I cannot even tolerate his acting much less his 'real life' antics.
Even before I knew about his cult status, even before the world was assaulted by what we know of as TomKat, I LOATHED him.
His comments about post-partum depression were completely inane, self-serving, and WRONG.
I would give my left breast if I could make him experience:
cramps
a period with bloating
child birth
AND
post-partum depression.
I would also ensure that he had no access to Midol, tampons, chocolate, epidurals, anti-depressants, and a professional therapist.
It would be interesting to see how he would deal with such things. Ass.
